Thank you for shopping at Cape Tech Digital World!

We offer refund / exchange within the first 7 days of your purchase, if 7 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund / exchange of any kind.

Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in the original packaging.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt/proof of purchase.
  • Only regular/wholesale priced items will be refunded.
  • The delivery fee of R60 (WESTERN CAPE) & R80 (JOHANNESBURG) is non-refundable.
  • We only exchange/refund items if they are defective/faulty, damaged or missing any items in the packaging.
     

IF YOU NEED AN EXCHANGE / REFUND, PLEASE SEND US AN EMAIL TO capetech@infocapetech.co.za AND WE WILL ARRANGE FOR YOUR ITEMS TO BE COLLECTED IN ORDER FOR US TO INSPECT WHETHER IT FALLS UNDER OUR ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUND OR EXCHANGE.
 

PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR THE DELIVERY FEE. YOU WILL ONLY RECEIVE THE AMOUNT FOR THE ITEMS PURCHASED.

 

Exempt Goods

The following are exempt from refunds/exchanges but only in the case of if you received it damaged:

  • Emergency & rechargeable light bulbs
  • Disposable vapes due to health safety.

 

Our Process

Once your returned good is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund/exchange, which ever you choose.  If, however you receive a rejection, we will contact you with the reasoning. 

Approved Refund

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


Approved Exchange

If you are approved, your exchange will be processed, and your original amount will be used for the exchange; however, if you exchange for an item that is more expensive than your previous price, you must ensure that you pay the difference.

Once payment is received, we will then deliver within a certain number of days, and we will pay for the delivery to the address given. 

 
Late or missing refunds


If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your bank as it may take some time for your refund to reflect.
